Marion Soccer, Inc., has two seasons of soccer per year, which are played in the Fall and Spring. If you wish to register for the SprIng 2015 season, please download the registration form below and mail to the address listed. The Marion Soccer Board has set a date of FEBRUARY 21ST, 2015 as the latest possible date to register a player for the 2015 Spring season. Please realize that late registrations are an additional $10 per player and your child may have to be put on a waiting list for their age gro.up

Registration fees are $35 per player for the SPRING season.
Late Registration for SPRING 2015 will be $45.
There may be a limited number of scholarships available. Anyone applying for a scholarship this season must submit the SCHOLARSHIP REQUEST form and necessary supporting information with their registration form. Your request will be reviewed by the Marion Soccer Executive Board for approval. Any requests made without this form and information will be denie d.

Please make checks payable to Marion Soccer Inc. (MSI). There will be a $120.00 maximum for four children or more in one family, per season.
To re-iterate, the registration process will not be complete until the form, along with your check have been mailed to Marion Soccer, Inc., P.O. Box 97, Marion, IL 62959. If you cannot print a registration form or mail it to the PO Box, you can drop off your registration at Pit Road Racing on the square in Marion.

The Marion youth soccer program is sponsoring a FREE soccer clinic for all coaches & parents involved in youth soccer. Dave Fernandez, director of “Soccer Made Simple” instructional programs, will conduct the clinic. Dave has been a youth soccer instructor for 29 years and holds an “A” license from the United States Soccer Federation coaching program, and is an Illinois Youth Soccer Association licensed instructor.
This clinic will be extremely informative for all youth soccer coaches and parents. Come and learn the most modern and effective methods of teaching the game to kids of all ages.
Topics of discussion will be:
• How to create the best learning environment for kids
• How to structure a practice session
• “Drills” vs. “Games” & “Activities”
• “Coaching” vs. “Facilitating”
• The importance of small-sided games
• How to identify improved player performance
All are invited to come out and watch Dave work & interact with a group of young players. See for yourself how easy it can be to become a youth soccer coach and make the game FUN for all kids. Questions and/or comments are welcome.

All recreational league soccer teams are welcome. All soccer fans, family and players are also welcome to Marion and to the Marion Soccer, Inc. Soccer Complex. There will be great soccer action, plenty of food and soft drinks, there are games for children of all ages, face painting and hair spraying done by the Marion High School Art Club, and many more activities to keep everyone busy and having fun. "SOCCER MADE SIMPLE" INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP
June 22-25, 2015
The camp will cater to all both boys & girls entering Pre-K through 8th grade in the fall of 2015.
The “Soccer Made Simple” instructional camp is designed to help ALL kids to “simply” learn and enjoy the game of soccer. Whether it should be a young beginner or a more experienced youth player, the camp is designed to teach the game in a fun, enjoyable, and age-appropriate environment. Coaches and parents are also invited to come out and learn more about youth soccer education. All attending will learn just how easy it is to help kids enjoy this GREAT GAME!
Dave Fernandez is the camp director. He is nationally recognized for his ability to teach and demonstrate soccer skills and techniques to aspiring young players of all ages. He is a USSF “A” license coach, and has been a director of player development and youth soccer coach and instructor for 28 years. As an educator of the game, he is called upon repeatedly to share his dynamic teaching methods, as well as demonstrate his unique ability with the soccer ball.
